Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Deliverables:

 

  • Collaborate with Project Manager to coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Collaborate with Project manager to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Collaborate with Project Manager to develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Develop and maintain the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of eachproject
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short andlong-term goals
  • Cultivate and uphold MANAOLA mission and vision internally and externally
  • Measure outcomes – client feedback, training feedback, partner feedback
  • Ability to interact with and influence all levels of an organization
  • Attend and manage corporate events
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency

WAREHOUSE & STOCK WORKER

Reports To: Inventory Manager

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

● Report to and assist Warehouse Leader in day-to-day operations.
● Assist with delivery and receipt of shipments including verifying shipment quantities,
quality control, and tagging of product.
● Verify quantity and description of received goods with shipping documents.
● Assist in compiling inventory report and lists for review and records.
● Assist in maintaining necessary levels of inventory stock.
● Input inventory data into computer programs for maintaining organized records and
archives.
● Count, sort and shelve stock.
● Assist in packaging and shipping of inventory for retail operations, including store,
ecommerce and pop-ups.
● Report any discrepancies or damage in stocks to the Warehouse Leader.
● Assist in preparation of materials, product and set-up of company projects and
programs.
● Work off-site at company events and retail operations.
● Other duties may be assigned.

 

Skills and Specifications

 

● Able to utilize inventory techniques and to package goods.
● Ability to effectively manage time and meet necessary targets.
● Should possess basic technological knowledge and the ability to operate a PC.
● Have a positive and professional attitude.
● Able to work independently and coordinate with other departments of the organization.

Other Requirement

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the
Stocker to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
● Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently, 50 pounds consistently and over 50 pounds,
with assistance, to place boxes and bins on shelves up to 5’ high.
● Ability to work for an extended period of time – up to 90% of assigned shifts on feet.
● Requires physical balance in walking, stooping, crouching, reaching, bending of body
and lifting of boxes and inventory .
● Requires working indoors in a warehouse and retail operations; and from time-to-time
working on the outside to deliver and pick-up inventory, supplies and other company

MANAOLA SALES PROFESSIONAL

Through innovation and tradition, MANAOLA is the life force brand of Hawaiʻi that mixes ancient wisdom and contemporary expression to enrich the modern lifestyle.

 

For most of our customers and clients, the first interaction with the MANAOLA brand is through retail. Hence, our sales staff is also the face of MANAOLA and must be able to impart our cultural. As part of our sales force, you will be an advocate of the brand, ensuring that every one who enters our stores experiences the MANAOLA lifestyle through service with Aloha. Our sales and brand advocate also may be asked to attend events in the community to represent the brand. Our sales and brand advocate will proactively create connections and reach out to your kanaka kūʻai (customer) in order to achieve individual and team goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service with aloha.

• Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features.

• Welcome customers to the store, answer their queries and seek out customers in store.

• Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.

• Comply with inventory control systems and procedures.

• Learn the moʻolelo (story) behind each of the MANAOLA original prints and styles and inform customers about the MANAOLA Lifestyle and products.

• Process POS (point of sale) purchases and handle return of merchandise.

• Endeavor to create customer loyalty by engaging with kanaka kūʻai to create loyal consumer connections.

• Team-player oriented, participating in all activities contributing to the overall objectives of the retail operation.

• Learn and master the MANAOLA Lifestyle and product knowledge.

Qualifications

Reports To: CEO; FLSA Status: Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

* Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.

* Rotates through MANAOLA HAWAI’I divisions of function/responsibility.

* Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.

* After receiving Corporate training/orientation, engages with clients and provides service and/or sales according to the MANAOLA HAWAI’I vision and purpose.

* Provide suggestions to Key Contact/Mentor for improving client service and internal processes.

* Ensures completion of any academic reporting required by the intern’s university/college.

The Marketing Professional is responsible for attracting consumer to the brand, driving growth, and consumer retention with a focus in social media and digital marketing. In order to flawlessly execute, this person must be extremely detail-oriented and organized, and possess strong interpersonal communication skills.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Identify our brands image and voice and effectively translating this identity into the presentation of all marketing materials. This includes ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all platforms and media to accurately reflect the brand’s values and appeal to its target audience.

Ensure marketing strategy serves to achieve short-term and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation

• Has a passion for innovation and technology aspects that can directly make an impact on social/digital/mobile efforts.

• Cultivate meaningful relationships with community partners

• Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring strategy success

Knowledge of various marketing applications such as Google Suite, Social Media Platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Excel Document creation & management, emailing applications, and customer profile applications

• Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team

Social Media

 

• Assist in the creation and implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy and defining marketing techniques that increase visibility and traffic for the agency clients

•  Seeking and researching new ideas for blog posts, social media, newsletter, website and marketing materials

•  Manage and execute the social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. A key part of this role will be cultivating a social media relationships i.e. Bloggers and professional industry organizations.

•  Assist in the analytical review and monthly report preparation measuring the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results. how to apply data from social media reports into actionable items and tactical deliverables.

•  Stay ahead of trends; forecast the next big thing, social media policies and governing regulations.

•  Recommend applications and/or tools within the social media discipline to ensure that MANAOLA Hawaiʻi is evolving and current.

•  Experiment and come up with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities

•  Collect details from various departments that will feed the social media efforts to help insure that content from consumers are included into the content stream.

•  Identify viral, digital word-of-mouth marketing opportunities with the goal of driving traffic, and customer acquisition across channels.

 

Content

 

• Manage and execute consistent photoshoot, videoshoot, and branded marketing events

• Assist in writing creative and compelling marketing content to use on website and various other areas. This may include creating and updating landing page copy, blog posts, email, newsletters, marketing collaterals and other materials as necessary.

• Assist in the management of site content and calendar of events via website content management system to ensure most current information.

• Manage and execute cataloging and archiving of all marketing including but not limited to media relationships, photography, blogs, newsletters, articles, campaigns, and any material created to increase brand awareness and corporate culture

 

Qualifications

 

Our Marketing Professional must have an overall obsession with social networking. They constantly update their feeds, engage in communities, and stay up-to-date on trends in the field.

• 1+ years in social media and content

• Well-versed in multiple social media platforms with an established presence.

• Familiar with social media management tools and services.

•  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery; Communicate effectively with technical, design and production staff, management and peers within the company.

• Ability to build and maintain good relationships with brand teams, eCommerce, key external vendors, and cross-functional teams.

• Self-starter and highly motivated – capable of working independently yet collaboratively within a fast paced environment.
